Are the capsules compatible with all Nespresso aluminum capsule machines?

Our Café Royal coffee capsules are compatible with the original capsules of the same system. You can find information about compatibility on the packaging.

Are the capsules recyclable?

Our aluminum capsules are 100% recyclable, and in Germany, they can easily be disposed of via the Yellow Bag or Yellow Bin. During the recycling process, the coffee grounds are separated from the capsules, and the aluminum is melted down.

Which countries do the coffee beans come from?

The coffee beans come from Honduras, Peru, and Brazil, where we directly support coffee farmers through local projects on-site.

Does my coffee contain aluminum?

The inside of the capsules has a food-grade coating, so the coffee does not come into contact with aluminum and does not contain any aluminum. The safety of our products is regularly tested by external laboratories.

What happens to the coffee grounds during the recycling process?

In addition to aluminum, coffee grounds are also a valuable material that is recycled. The most well-known use is for the production of compost. However, coffee grounds are also a valuable source of energy in biogas plants.
